“My kids stopped asking "are we done yet?" and started asking "can I discover one more thing?"”— A LearnAbout Family
Built for Families Who Learn Together
LearnAbout isn't just another app your kids stare at. It's a tool designed to spark real conversations, real questions, and real understanding — with you alongside them.
Real Curriculum, Not Busywork
Every skill covers music history, natural history, and more — written by educators, not algorithms. Three mastery tiers (Observer, Collector, Naturalist) build genuine understanding, not just correct guesses.
You See Everything
Your parent dashboard shows exactly what each child is learning, how long they spend, which skills they have mastered, and where they might need help. No black boxes.
Offline Projects & Discussion Prompts
Each quest includes hands-on activities and conversation starters — go outside, pick up a rock, listen to a piece of music together. Screen time with purpose.
Multiple Students, One Family
Add all your learners under one account. Each student gets their own progress, character, and specimen cabinet. You track everyone from a single dashboard.
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages is LearnAbout designed for?
LearnAbout is built for students roughly ages 6 through 14, but curious learners of any age are welcome. Content is written to be accessible for younger readers while still engaging for older ones.
What subjects does it cover?
We currently offer courses in Music History and Natural History, with more on the way. Each course weaves together multiple disciplines — science, history, geography, language arts, and the arts — so students see how everything connects.
Is LearnAbout free?
Yes! LearnAbout is completely free during our beta period. All courses, quests, and features are available at no cost. We'll announce any future pricing changes well in advance.
How does it work with homeschooling?
LearnAbout is designed with homeschool families in mind. Each skill tier includes lesson content, assessments, offline activities, and discussion prompts — everything you need for a complete unit of study. The parent dashboard gives you time logs and progress tracking for your records.
How much screen time does it require?
Each skill tier takes roughly 20–40 minutes of screen time for reading and assessments. But every tier also includes offline activities — field observations, hands-on projects, and family discussion prompts — so much of the learning happens away from the screen.
Can I have multiple students on one account?
Absolutely. You can add as many students as you like under a single parent account. Each student gets their own progress, journal, specimen cabinet, and character — and you track everyone from one dashboard.
